I am caught up in this book and am anxious to read the third. I have to mention, that while I gave it a 5 star rating, there are two things that bother me.First, I am annoyed by Jaden’s speech. Both the author and Jaden seem to forget that her words and especially the use of slang will cause problems. Yet, it continues throughout the book. It’s distracting when she says “Sure”, rather than some more formal form of agreement.
Second, more back story is necessary. Way more. Refers are being asked to suspend their disbelief and it’s difficult when so many major questions remain unanswered.

Vicky Savage has continued the story of Jaden Beckett from Transcender, and spun a story of adventure, teen angst, young love, and mystery. I warned not to read these books at night because you can't put them down. The author has done a wonderful job describing a new world with compelling storyline and emotion. I hope her muse visits often, so the next chapter will be along soon.
I liked this one as much as the first story. Sometimes in a 2nd book of a series or trilogy I lose interset. Get bored,ect. But this one kept my attention just as much.
Mrs.Savage has a wonderful imagination. Lots of detail. I also usually hate cliff hangers. But this one left off at a good point for an ending. Wrapped up nicely but leaving open for the next one.
I very much enjoyed these two books. Hope to read more of this authors books.

I can't say enough good things about this book! Savage drew me right back in, I couldn't put this book down! Streaming Stars continues on with an intriguing plot, amazing world descriptions, and we get to continue to see Jaden's character grow, becoming much more confident with her role in Domerica. I continued to enjoy Ralston's character, even with a few twists you find out in this book. I can't forget to mention Fred and Ethel, Princess Jaden's cute little Skorplings, how fun would it be to have them in real life?! I'm a big fan of Jaden and Ryder, even though their relationship seems to have the world pitted against it. While Asher is an interesting addition, Jaden's one true love is Ryder...and always will be, no matter what alternate universe she winds up in. I cannot wait for the next book!
I think I liked this one better than the first - maybe because there was a bit more drama, conflict and "bad guys." I loved some of Jaden's one liners and inner thoughts and felt the author really did a good job of reminding us that through everything, Jaden was still a teenager. One complaint I had was Jaden's lack of conflict about leaving Connecticut and possibly never seeing her "real" father and brother again. She showed slighted sadness but I wished she didn't so easily replace her "real" family with her "mirror" family. I also liked her chemistry with Asher better than Ryder...Perhaps in the third installment!
Eagerly waiting for Streaming Stars, the sequel to Transcender First Timer, by Vicky Savage,I finally got to read it and I was not disappointed. Jaden is given another chance to return to Domerica and Her true love Ryder. But things are not the same and Jaden finds herself tugged in many directions. Her mirror mother is deathly ill, there seems to be a new love interest with Asher another transcender and Ryder seems to be pulling away from her. I enjoyed reading about Jaden and experiencing her life but, unfortunately book two left my with quite a cliffhanger! With in Third book in sight!Hope it comes soon!
I was so excited to see the second book released I bought it the same moment I saw it online. It was terrific! I fly a lot for business - and I ignored pressing spreadsheets and just sunk down in my seat and read it for the cross country flight. I love the story - the characters reach into your heart. The author paints the picture, explores so many emotions you feel you are right there. I felt completely vested in their lives - this is what I look for in a book, and lucky me this is a trilogy! Although it is for "young adults" (and I haven't been in that category for a while!) I've enjoyed both books and now I am very anxious for the third installment! I hope I don't have to wait too long! Enjoy!
I really enjoyed all 3 books in this series. I don't usually hold out a lot of hope in the trilogy, teen books, but do get caught up in "try the first free". The book had a fresh concept on fantasy, it is about a young girl but the story is much deeper than the "fall in love" lines of most other teen books. The characters are likable, and the writing and editing is good. I read these while on vacation, I liked the story so much that I bought the second and third rather than wait to read on lending library for free. I would read another book from this author.
